We are looking for a ambitious mechatronics engineer for our client Thermo Fisher.
What will you do as a senior mechatronics engineer?
As Senior Mechatronics Engineer you will be part of an enthusiastic multi-disciplinary team and responsible for the mechatronic aspects of high-tech electron-microscope modules or sub-systems. You will work closely with a team of mechanical, electronics, software, mechatronics, dynamics, thermodynamics engineers, architects, project managers, and multidisciplinary colleagues outside R&D like sourcing, operations, and service.
You will typically be involved in 1 to 3 projects or activities in parallel. In these projects you can see your designs grow from a conceptual idea to a finished product for our customers. As linking-pin within the development team, you will frequently be in contact with project stakeholders throughout the organization and will interact directly on requests related to your designs. The decisions made by you and your team will have direct business impact. Your challenge will be to find solutions for technological complex problems, meeting the needs of all your stakeholders, combining short term goals with long term needs.
You will report directly to the manager of the Mechatronics team within the Manage Sample Group.
